We have formed a Mahomet Community Tennis Association in conjunction with the United States Tennis Association and the Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department.

Our goal, of course, is to seed and facilitate the emergence of this great sport into the Mahomet community.  There is a long road ahead, but the tremendous response to the website (www.mahomettennis.com) as well as old fashioned word of mouth, gives us many reasons to be optimistic.

At the meeting, we will be discussing short term and long term options and programs, while trying to gauge interest and enthusiasm in the ideas that are currently under consideration (like the USTA’s QuickStart program).  Further, we will welcome any input, suggestions, concerns and questions from everyone.
